Larry Goldie

​

Larry has been working as a year round, professional mountain guide for over two decades.  Among the different hats he wears are as co-owner of North Cascades Mountain Guides where he guides climbing and skiing trips in the North Cascades and around the world.  Much of his winter months are spent working as a guide and snow safety director for North Cascade Heli.  Larry also works as an instructor and examiner for the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) as well as an instructor trainer and pro course leader for the American Institute for Avalanche research and Education (AIARE). His passion for skiing has taken him to many of the world's best ski destinations including Japan, Alaska, the Alps and Antarctica.

Larry is a brand ambassador for DPS skis and Backcountry Access.  Larry is also an internationally certified (IFMGA) mountain guide.

He is a longtime resident of the Methow Valley of Washington with his wife Blue and daughter Dalia.  When not in the mountains, Larry is usually busy planning the next family adventure with his girls.
