Alan Davis

A transplant from the foothills of the Chugach range, Alan found his love for the outdoors at a young age. What began as exploring and learning to appreciate the rugged beauty of Alaska’s backcountry with his grandfather, eventually led him to a passion for climbing and skiing big mountains all over the world. He has guided and recreated in the Alaska Range, Cascades, Canadian Coast Range, Tetons, Wasatch, Himalaya, Mexico, and Peru. Prior to pursuing a career as a professional guide, Alan was a Ranger for Denali and Mt. Rainier National Parks. When he is not at home in the Pacific Northwest, he splits his winters between Utah and Alaska as an avalanche educator, backcountry snowmobile, cat, and heli ski guide.
